Safety Checks
New Fuseboards in
Marlborough Homes
Your Fuseboard is the main electrical hub in your Marlborough home – the point where the electrical supply enters the property and monitors the safety of all electrical circuits, tripping off the mains switch when electrical danger is detected.
An old Fuseboard can continue to work, but there are some reasons why it may be required to replace it with a new Fuseboard (Consumer Unit) in your Marlborough home.
The main reasons for upgrading your old fuseboard is if you’re having some electrical work carried out on your home that may overload the old fuseboard, or if the old fuseboard doesn’t comply with modern electrical regulations and your wiring is in poor condition. A new 18th Edition Metal Fuseboard (known as a Consumer Unit) with Residual Current Devices (RCDs) will keep you and your home safe from electrical fires and shocks.
Prestige Heating & Electrical Services are an established family-run company with a team of highly qualified Marlborough electricians, qualified, competent and adept at safely installing new Fuseboards across the SN8 postcode area and fault-finding with troublesome Fuseboards in properties in Ogbourne, Rockley, Axford and Ramsbury.
